Princess Rara (she/her) is a kink educator, podcaster, author, community organizer, and experienced sadomasochist who has been involved in the kink community for more than 11 years.

Her approach to kink education is pretty simple: give people useful information, help them ask better questions, and let them decide what works for them. There is no one correct way to do kink, and Rara is far more interested in helping people understand themselves, communicate clearly, advocate for what they need, and make informed choices.

She is the founder of Pink Kink, which includes the Pink Kink Podcast, Pink Kink Institute, and Pink Kink Boutique. Across all three, her goal is the same: make kink education practical, approachable, shame-free, and actually useful in real life. She takes consent, communication, risk, and community seriously. Herself? Considerably less seriously.

Rara is also the author of Your Kink User’s Manual, a guide and workbook created to help people figure out what they want from kink, put it into words, communicate it with others, and keep learning as they go.

She teaches regularly for organizations and events including Dark Odyssey, Studio 58, Black Rose Education, Wicked Grounds, and more. In the greater DC area, she can also be found hosting munches, working as a Demo/House Top, hosting parties in her private dungeon, staffing select dungeon events, and generally finding ways to turn kink education into a community activity.

Her writing has appeared in The Obedient Season and Darkside Magazine.

At the heart of everything Rara does is empowerment through education. Her work focuses on helping people better understand themselves, communicate clearly, advocate for their needs, and approach kink with curiosity, confidence, and respect for themselves and others.
