When we think of kink including floggers, wax play, or restraints, we generally don’t include disabled people in that image. And why don’t we? Being disabled shouldn’t cut you out of the kink scene. For many people with disabilities, BDSM is just one facet of life in which they have learned to make adjustments so that they can enjoy the lifestyle. Kink can be a powerful tool for managing their chronic pain. We speak to two amazing kinksters who identify as disabled. They told us what kink can bring to the disabled experience (and visa versa), about being disabled in BDSM spaces like play parties or dungeons, and some of the complications disabilities can create in the kink world.
